The Cocktail Scarf Collection was a collection I designed of limited edition scarves to be sold in the worldwide Revolution vodka bar, to promote there cocktails and expand there brand. I created typographic scarves to be sold with the appropriate cocktail glasses, matching coasters and a small concertina booklet showing off other scarves in the Cocktail Collection range. 12 Comments The brief was to design a series of 3 typography posters advertising Ministry of Sounds famous 'Saturday Sessions' nights. Each image was originally hand-drawn onto AO paper then scaled down on the computer and applied to clear plastic acetate. My aim was to make them so unique, interesting and eye-catching that people would just want to read them and find out more! Here is my University Personal Project which involved creating my own brief. I decided to look into cosmetic surgery and why people put there bodys under such dramatic circumstances to look good. I wanted to raise awareness for cosmetic surgery by designing a Body Shop range of products as alternatives to surgery, based on the most popular bodily issues. The Body Shop prides itself in selling all natural products, and what could be a more natural than these? I kept a neutral theme throughout all the products and expressed each of the needs through the bottle shape or paper art, for example, the typography on the 'boob job' bra inserts has been embossed. Here is a nice little something I found recently :) I get fed up of seeing horrible looking chalk boards lined up outside various pubs and cafes on the way to uni... They should definitely be more like this! Been soooo busy recently so haven't been posting as much as usual i'm afraid! But here are some nice little packaging ideas iv been saving on my laptop for you :) |
