Barcodes aren't just a boring label found on endless products at your supermarket anymore, they have turned into striking pieces of artwork.  Below you can see artist Scott Blake has truly turned the barcode into an art form, using it to create portraits of iconic pop culture figures like OJ Simpson, Charles Manson, Oprah and Jesus.  Although this image below has no potential meaning, you can see as wall art on a white background... it looks very stylish and striking. By Ferm Living  This design by Super Mobilet was created using transparent acrylic used as a base for this barcode chandelier light fixture. The design was so popular, it sold out almost immediately.  an amazing app for your iphone which allows you to capture short videos... I bet you could have alot of fun with this! Was just browsing through the net and found these! 'Newspaper' nails! Created by dipping fingernails into alcohol then pressing them against newspaper! Typography for your nails... who'd have thought it?   UK design firm ROOT created this contemporay identity for 'Sculptivate' (a design and build agency for environments) by pushing Play Doh through a stencil. Check it out in action here. It’s such an original way to create typography and it looks amazing! Its so simple but looks amazing! Brilliant idea.    The identity was then applied across digital platforms and print.  Artist: Nele Azevedo Location: steps of the music hall in Gendarmenmarkt public square Berlin, Germany This amazing installation of 1,000 melting men was done in collaboration with the WWF to highlight global warming.
